Information you provide
- Account information, such as your email address and password, if you create an account.
- Preferences you choose to save, such as dietary preferences.
- Messages you send to us for support or privacy requests.
Information collected when you use the app
- Barcode scans, ingredient text, search queries, and related scan metadata.
- Scan results, ingredient analysis, confidence scores, and saved pantry/history actions.
- Subscription and entitlement status needed to unlock premium features.
- Device and app information such as platform, app version, and anonymous device identifiers used for functionality, analytics, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
Camera, photos, and generated images
- If you scan a barcode or ingredient label, the app accesses your camera for that purpose.
- If you use photo-based ingredient analysis, the captured image may be sent to our backend and AI service providers for OCR and ingredient analysis.
- If you save or share a generated result card, the app may request photo library or sharing permissions.
