AlarmQuest ("the App") is an anti-snooze alarm and wake mission tool developed by SMA Apps. This Privacy Policy explains what data AlarmQuest collects, how it is used, and your rights with respect to that data. We are committed to collecting the minimum data necessary and to keeping your personal information under your control.
Alarm times, repeat schedules, selected mission types, and sound preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults and the App Group container). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Records of whether you completed or snoozed past alarms are stored locally on your device to calculate streaks and display progress. This data is not uploaded to any server or linked to any account.
Responses you provide during onboarding (for example how often you snooze, what it has cost you this week, how serious you are about changing it, your wake-up time and your chosen mission) are used to personalise the App and to calculate the statistics shown during setup. They are stored on your device. Each answer is also sent to Mixpanel as an anonymous analytics event, linked only to a random install identifier that is created on your device and is not connected to your name, email address, Apple ID or any advertising identifier. We use these events to understand which parts of the setup people complete and to improve the App.
Your subscription status (trial, active or lapsed) is determined on-device using Apple's StoreKit framework and validated by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may receive anonymous purchase event data (transaction IDs, subscription type, renewal events) from Apple as part of this process. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or other personal identifiers from AlarmQuest. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
AlarmQuest uses Sentry for crash reporting. If the App crashes, Sentry collects an anonymised crash report including device type, iOS version, App version, and a stack trace. Sentry does not receive your name, Apple ID, or any user-generated content. Crash reports are used solely to identify and fix bugs. For details, see Sentry's Privacy Policy.
