Flaro — Focus & Productivity
Last updated: 19 March 2026
We built Flaro as a commercial application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
Flaro is designed with privacy in mind. Your tasks, habits, and focus sessions are stored locally on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers. When you use optional AI-powered features (such as Brain Dump), your text is processed by a third-party AI service as described below.
The following data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is never sent to our servers:
We cannot access, read, or recover this data. If you delete the app, this data is permanently lost.
AI Brain Dump feature: When you use the "Organise My Thoughts" feature, the text you enter is sent to our server (hosted on Supabase) and forwarded to Google's Gemini AI for processing. The text is used solely to generate organised task suggestions and is not stored by us or by Google after processing. This feature is optional and only activated when you tap the organise button. You are asked to provide consent before using this feature for the first time.
Analytics (Mixpanel): We collect anonymised usage data to understand how features are used and to improve the app. This includes events such as screens viewed, features used, and task counts. We do not track your IP address (IP tracking is disabled). We do not send your task content, habit names, or any personal text to our analytics service. Survey feedback text is collected only when you voluntarily submit it.
Crash Reporting (Sentry): We collect anonymised crash reports and error logs to identify and fix bugs. These reports contain technical information about the error (stack traces, device type, OS version) and do not contain personal data. Personally identifiable information is not sent to Sentry.
